Handbuilt Gallery

This gallery has examples of my work using the slab building technique.  I roll out slabs of clay by hand and cut them into the sides, top and bottom of the piece.  Often there will be pieces added that I will make on the potter's wheel. Click on the image to your left to go to this gallery.

California Desert Pottery

These pots reflect my influences from California and Southwest Native American pottery that I was exposed to early in my career.  These pieces carry within them my special connection to the places that have influenced their creation. Click on the image to your left to go to this gallery.

Carved & Stamped Pottery

Carved and Stamped just means that after the pieces have been either handbuilt or "thrown" on the potter's wheel, additional decorative elements have been either carved or stamped into the still soft clay. Click on the image to your left to go to this gallery.

Platters

Platters are one of my favorite forms to make.  I love food, love to eat, and these pieces are ideal for serving on.  All my glazes are food safe, and any type of food you serve on them will be enhanced by the various glazes I use.  Click on the image to your left to go to this gallery.
