Decorative Desert Design Platter: This platter is wheel thrown and altered to incorporate the California Desert Design. After the platter was thrown, it was allowed to dry to a leather hard state. I added textured white stoneware clay stamps and textured coils. After piece was dried, I accented the piece with various oxides. Platter was fired to 1900 degrees. After the firing it was washed, glazed with a white matt glaze, fired to 2400 degrees. This platter should only be used decorative manner. Not food safe. | ||

Teal Green Platter: Wheel thrown, fired once to 1900 degrees, washed, glazed and accented with oxides to capture design theme. Platter was again fired to 2400 degrees. It is food safe. | ||

Dark Green Platter: Wheel thrown, dried, fired, washed, glazed with green glaze and accented with various oxides. The oxide design is called the “Flying O design”. Platter is fired the second time to 2400 degrees. It is food safe. | ||

Eggshell White Platter: Wheel thrown, dried, fired, washed and accented with various oxides to create a “Winter Grass Design”. Platter is fired for the second time to 2400 degrees. It is food safe. | ||

White Dinner Plate: Plate is thrown on a potter’s wheel. It is dried, fired, washed, glazed and accented with a “Delta Grass Design”. Plate is then fired to 2400 degrees. Each plate is handmade and no two plates are exactly the same. They will be very similar. The plates are food safe. | ||
